is broken, first from sneezing and coughing up a pollen-filled lung or two, and then from going to work and yelling at children. my voice is on its way out, and at the moment, sounds kind of high and fruity. whoa... i really feel like "i do cocaine" now. heh.
so, uh, this woman in our church is holding some kind of fashion show for her store, and she very enthusiastically asked my mom right when i was there if i'd like to be in it. not wanting to be rude to my mom (who was all for it) or the lady, i nodded yes. ok, so bear in mind that we're in a little rural hickville kind of town, and this lady is probably older than my mom. she owns a little woman's apparel shop on main street, main street here being filled with sewing shops and handmade art stores. something like that. and apparently i have to go down some catwalk. ohh maannnn... i can already see it. a giant floral print dress and 20 senior citizen women clapping. wwaaaaahhhh... well, hopefully it won't be that bad. my mom says the lady has some nice stuff for me to wear... but then again, as well as she means, i learned long ago NOT to trust my mother's judgment on clothes. when she was still buying all my stuff, it included neon colored sweatpants. it has improved since then, but still... not good. NOT GOOD!!!!!! *groans*
oh well, i shall have to post the results of the fashion show. i guess i won't have to worry about looking fat if i'm surrounded by many, erm, ladies who aren't in their prime. o.0 well, hopefully it'll all go... decently
